Most of Bahay Aurora’s children were malnourished at a young age. This has led to a growth and developmental delay in a number of children, which is hard to catch up. As a result, school performance can also be less and good nutrition is therefore an important aspect. The children receive three healthy meals of rice and vegetables per day, possibly supplemented with meat or fish.
They do exercise in the form of sports, yoga and dance. Since an indoor basketball court has been built in 2009, there are more possibilities for this. So at any time and weather conditions sports can be used and daily use is made of this. The employees also have to exercise. On the one hand to remain in condition, on the other hand as a good example for the children.
